About this video: Learning how to make a Minecraft 1.19.3 server is actually one of the most important skills you can learn in regards to Minecraft in my opinion.

The reason for that is by learning how to create a Minecraft server in 1.19.3, you will be able to play Minecraft with friends any time that you want by simply spinning up a server.

With this belief, I have created this guide on how to make a server in Minecraft 1.19.3 from start to finish.

We cover everything from downloading the Minecraft 1.19.3 server file to getting your server started and letting your friends join it.

First things first, we will need to download the Minecraft server file for 1.19.3.

You can find a link in the description above to download this server file.

That link will actually take you to our text tutorial for creating a Minecraft server.

On this page, scroll down to the ‘Download Minecraft’ button and click it.

You will be taken to Minecraft’s official website where you can click the green ‘minecraft_server.1.19.3.jar’ link to download the Minecraft 1.19.3 server file.

Once you have the 1.19.3 server file downloaded, create a folder on your desktop called 1.19.3 Server.

Move the file you downloaded into this folder.

Double-click on the server.jar file you downloaded, and it will try to open and fail.

If it doesn’t, you need Java which can be found in the links below.

Some files will have generated including an EULA.txt file.

Open this file with notepad and change EULA=false to EULA=true.

Save the file, and double click the server.jar file again.

Your Minecraft 1.19.3 server will start up.

You aren’t finished learning how to make a Minecraft server in 1.19.3 just yet though.

That is, unless you don’t want your friends to join.

In order to play Minecraft 1.19.3 with your friends, you will need to port forward.

We cover how to port forward in-depth in the video, but in short, you will need to forward port 25565 on the TCP and UDP protocols.

Again, this is covered in-depth in the video, but it is required in order to allow your friends to join your newly made Minecraft server.

After you have port forwarded, your friends will be able to join your Minecraft 1.19.3 server using your public IP address.

You can find a link in the description above to get your public IP address.

It is important that you only share this with people you trust.
